Can we talk about the clothes we buy… and then never actually wear?
Because we’ve all done it.
You see a pair of leggings for £20 and think, bargain. You wear them a couple of times, they start losing their shape, they’re not quite as comfy as you thought they’d be, and suddenly they’ve been sitting at the back of your wardrobe for the last six months.
This got us thinking.
Is something really better value just because it’s cheaper?
We don’t think so.
For us, it’s much more about how often you actually reach for it.
The leggings you put on for your Monday morning gym session.
The joggers you throw on for a Wednesday walk.
The set you wear when you’re heading out for coffee on Friday.
The tracksuit that somehow becomes your uniform for Sunday errands.
Then you wear it all again next week.
And the week after.
Realistically, we don’t need more clothes sitting in our wardrobes that we might wear one day.
We want pieces that become part of your everyday life. The ones you grab without thinking because you know they’re comfy, they fit properly and you actually feel good in them.
So maybe the value of a piece isn't just about the price tag.
Maybe it’s about how much use you get out of it.
How often you wear it.
AND whether it becomes one of those pieces you wonder how you ever lived without.
That’s what we think about when we create Bossella.
Not just “Would you buy this?”
But “Would you actually wear this?”
Those are the pieces we want to make.
