The Same Clothes, One Year Later

One model. One year apart. Same Bossella pieces.

When we were just starting Bossella, one of our very first shoots featured our model, Loni.

At the time, we were building the brand from the ground up, figuring out who we were, what we wanted to create and, most importantly, what women actually wanted from their gymwear.

Fast forward one year, and Loni was back on set for our latest shoot.

This time, she brought something with her: some of her original Bossella pieces.

Not because we asked her to.

Not because we sent them to her for the shoot.

Because she still wears them.

That meant more to us than any product review ever could.

We placed those original pieces next to some of our newer designs, and the difference was almost impossible to spot.

These pieces had been worn, washed, taken to the gym, thrown into bags and worn again. They had been lived in, yet they still looked as good as they did when we first photographed them.

There was no dramatic “before and after”.

No replacing old clothes simply for the sake of having something new.

Just gymwear that had been worn, washed, lived in and kept.

For us, that is the real test of a product.

Sustainability is not just about how something is made. It is also about how long you want to keep wearing it.

We don't want to create gymwear that looks good for one season before being forgotten at the back of your wardrobe.

We want to create pieces you reach for again and again.

The leggings you always pack in your gym bag.

The joggers you wear to Pilates, then keep on for coffee.

The top you have had for a year because it still fits, still feels good and still makes you feel great.

If you're still reaching for it one year later, it was worth making.

Seeing Loni return to our latest shoot wearing pieces from those very first days of Bossella was a pretty special reminder that we are on the right track.

Wear it. Wash it. Live in it. Repeat it.

That is the Bossella test.
